Yay for 3 day weekends! I didn't mention this, but I am wearing my first ever sweater, "Baby Cables and Big Ones, Too".
Whatcha Makin?
Basketweave Hat using Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Tweed in the Brass Heather colorway, size 7 needles
Parcel sweater by Carol Feller

"No More No More Tears Socks" using Sophie’s Toes sock yarn in the Fog on the Moor colorway. Size 1.5 (2.5mm) needles, 60 stitches around. Started out as the No More Tears pattern, but I decided that it was the wrong yarn for that pattern.

I just started watching The Walking Dead and I was hooked within 10 minutes!
I'm missing a part of the podcast.

I love that your nail polish match both the sweater you're wearing and your "No More Tears" socks.
ReplyDeleteThe Walking Dead is one of our must watch shows of the week. AMC does some really good ones. FX as well, if you already don't watch it, you should check out Justified.
hi, although some of your spinning content seemed to be cropped from the podcast you look like your are going great. those skeins you showed at the end were so pretty. well done.
ReplyDeletei think you should definitely stripe them, you could also do a simple colorwork cowl with them too.
Emily, you are going great guns on all you do!!!
ReplyDeleteThe sweater is lovely and to do cables like that on a first one is awesome.
And wouldn't our spouses/partners like us to admire them as we do the yarn?
