  1. You, my dear, are super cute. You have a lovely, soothing voice and are a joy to listen to. I, too, love to knit stockinette socks. They are mindless and it always amazes me when I see a completed pair. Best wishes on a successful career as a knitting podcaster.

  4. Hey there! Thanks for mentioning my Etsy shop & yarn on your podcast! :) When I was dyeing Ultramarine, I was picturing it as either Mona or Marilinda by Cookie A. Not sure that would work for you, considering you're planning to use it for the KAL, but in case you change your mind that's what I plan to do with mine (I have your skein's twin!). Good luck with the podcast; I wish you every success!

  5. Hi Dana!
Thank you so much for watching! I LOVE your podcast.
I don't have to use the Ultramarine for the KAL..I could always just buy some more yarn.
Ooh, those Marilinda socks in the green on the pattern page are gorgeous. Thanks for the suggestion and I want to see what you make!

  8. Great podcast! I will definitely be watching again.

A possible lead for your camping wedding. This spot in western Maryland has cabins. Not sure if they have bathrooms though. I've never been, but I bookmarked a while back as a good spot for a family vacation someday.

  9. There's a beautiful state park in SC called Paris Mountain. They have a big lodge (Camp Buckhorn) and cabin rentals as well. There's a lake for swimming too and lot of trails and things for exploration. GSP Airport is about 30 minutes away. Here's the link so that you can look at the park for yourself. http://www.southcarolinaparks.com/park-finder/state-park/722.aspx

If this doesn't fit the bill, there's lots of State Parks in NC,SC,and GA that have similar set ups. I'm from NC and always visit the state parks when we travel. Although this particular park is the only one I could think of that was still close to the downtown area. Greenville is a beautiful place too with lots of options for those not wanting to stay in the "campy" type accommodations.

    Great podcast by the way.

  12. I really enjoyed your podcast. You have a lovely voice, interesting projects and yarn and you were concise. I am looking forward to more of your podcasts.

As a fellow Madelinetosh devotee, I would highly recommend alternating skeins, even for the pale colors. It is not always necessary to alternate all the way in a garment though. Often i just alternate for about 20 rows or so when i change skeins. I have tried before to not alternate and the change is always evident in the light.

    Happy knitting
